Adobe Analytics

It would be really great if we had the ability to schedule FTP Export classfiication files.  We get new values all the time in our reports.  We have to request and wait for reports to be ready.  It would be great if we could schedule these requests.  I know there is an API, but we dont necessarily have the skillset to build these applications.

The mobile device reports all show the version of a device (ie Samsung Galaxy, Verizon Galaxy) for everything but Apple devices.This needs fixed.  Currently the only way to break down by screen resolution and even that isn't very helpful.  

I've noticed today that duckduckgo.com is not recognized as a search engine by the Adobe Analytics Natural Search Detection Rules. It would be nice if this could be implemented. Regards

I have some stakeholders who want reports sent every quarter (instead of every month or every week). It would be great if one could schedule Workspace Projects to send with a quarterly cadence.

I suggest that IBM Cloud Object Storage be added as a destination for Analytics Data Feeds.  The Cloud Object Storage API is very similar to that of Amazon S3.  They share common features like Buckets, Access Keys, and Secret Access Keys, so I think Adobe could leverage their prior work as they do this integration.

Background:  1. List variables are like eVas persistent by nature2. There is only 3  of list variables avalable per report suite3. There are growing numebr of use cases for list variables and they need to be reused more & more often Issue:When list varialbels are re-used the old values are being passed into new reports   Requirement /:There is a need to enable RESET values option for list variables that would allow to delete all previous values stored in the cookies associated with the variables. This functinality is currently available for all eVars.Can it please be gtransffered to the list variables as well 

It would be great to be able to compare reports from two/multiple reports suites in workspace similar to legacy Reports & Analytics interface. It will allow us to compare content performance in different countries/geographical reasons in workspace report.

We have a few websites that generally used the same classification rules and tracking code template but there we a few differences. After a few years, it was decided to bring these together to use the same tracking code template. This meant aligning classifications and classification rules.The issue was that you can not align classification for two or more report suites by name, because they have a hidden ID in the background. this meant that when if I was on report suite 1 looking at the Channels report and then changed to report suite 2, it would no show me the same Channel report (due to the classification IDs being different).It would be good if it was possible to update these IDs to make sure they match, thus making reporting across report suites easier. Considering you can create classification rules based on the classification name not ID, why is it not possible to align them?Thanks.

i really love the anomality detection to get a hint where something is wrong. but having big workspace dashboards makes it hard to fund the anomlities ...New textbox with anomalities summaryhow about a new text box (similar to the visualization "text") which has a list of all visualizations where an anomality has been detected. and to make it great, the list is hyperlinked to the visualization  

Problem:I see many Workspace (or standard Reports) users drilling down from things like Marketing Channel Last Touch reports down to other reports like "Referrers." The problem here is that the user is drilling down from one report/var that might be Last Touch, 30 Days to another variable that is Last Touch, Visit. This causes breakdowns that do not make sense to the average user.As a consultant, I have answered question as to why things like this do not make sense for more than 10 years (i.e. the basic idea that not all things should be broken down by one another just because they can be), and this comes up on a regular basis to this very day.Solution:When hovering over a dimension or clicking the "i" icon, integrate admin console data as to the attribution and expiration of that dimension (to at least make people aware of a possible difference if they lookWhen one dimension is dragged under another (for drill-down) notify the user with a message as to the fact that they are using dim

It would be nice to have the metric gauge selection where we can have the red, orange, and green set based on a rolling 12 week period and have the meter based on the 12 week average, plus and minus 10%.  Right now this is done manually so would like to automate as much as possible.

When a user opens a shared project in Analysis Workspace and would like to leverage somebody’s segment with a few amendments, they have to build a segment from scratch as there is no option to open it in the Segment Builder to apply desired changes and save it with a new name.Please add an option Save As (open in Segment Builder) for the segments that are in shared projects.

We manage a lot of report suites and users in our organization, and having the following functionality available via API would be hugely helpful for us, and cut down on Client Care requests. 1. Update menu customization to v 1.4. There is a method for this in 1.3, but it hasn't been implemented in 1.4--is there a plan for that?2. Ability to hide/unhide report suites in a login company. We have thousands of report suites that need hiding and a method for maintaining them over time. 3. Update Default Metrics (There is a bug currently where Default Metrics are not copied from a template. Client Care indicated this was a low priority for a fix).4. Get/Save Bot Filter Rules5. Enable Transaction ID (or at least have Transaction ID be something that can be copied from a template) 6. Enable Marketing Channels

When amending a number of related segments, as an admin I will filter the list of segments to the ten or so segments I want to edit.However, as soon as I enter one of the segments to edit it, the segment manager forgets the filter settings so when I return to the segment manager I have to reapply all my filter settings! - This is pretty inefficient.Please could you consider making the segment manager remember the filters that are applied between edits?(the calculated metrics manager would also benefit from the same enhancement)

In most of the Analysis and deep-dives, Pathing reports contributes well. With all of us moving to Workspace for our Data Analysis needs, would it not be a good idea to have these PATHING reports in WorkSpace as well?I am not referring to the visualization type "FLOW" in the Workspace as it does cover some of the pathing needs but doesn't really serves the purpose fully.The real power of Path Analysis lies in the reports like "Path Finder" which is NOT supported in this visualization type "FLOW". In addition to that other OOB Pathing reports like Page Summary and Path Length are also not available in workspace.List of Pathing Reports requested in Workspace:Path Finder.Page Summary.Page Length. I seriously miss these reports in Workspace    Do you miss them as well ???

It's great that the Data Feed tool has access to rerun jobs. But, It would be even better if we could add to the Data Feed API the option to resend failed jobs. That would help the workflow tremendously.

There are so many things that are hard for user management in Analytics-I would love it if Adobe could do a project to review the key tasks in user management and redesign. For example, I can't add multiple users (all with the same permissions groups) easily--if there is a way to do this, please let me know!I can't easily find all the info I need to delete a user in one spot---for example, the Transfer screen doesn't show me who a component (segment, etc.) got shared with. I can see that it is shared but not with who, which I need to know to transfer correctly.I can't see the permissions groups for a user without going into the user, but then can't delete the user from within the user record, etc. The user management approach is causing me lots of work right now as we are migrated to the Marketing Cloud and also trying to reduce the number of users.

I would love to have a global Instances metric (as the global Visit metric) or Event Instances metrics available in Calculated Metrics Builder. Here is the business case I would like to share: For our customer, we would like to calculate average values for some events. For example, we set the NUMERIC event “Deposit Amount (EUR)”, but no additional eVar (since there are only 100 eVars available) and no additional counter event. Please see below an example on how “Deposit Amount (EUR)” is calculated for July 12:User 1: Deposit Amount = 100 EURUser 2: Deposit Amount = 200 EURUser 3: Deposit Amount = 300 EURFor July 12, the event “Deposit Amount (EUR)” would show 600. Consequently, I would require the Event Instances (in this case 3 Instances) for the metric Deposit Amount (EUR) in order to be able to calculate the average. I would like a option to choose a Report Suite or Virtual Report Suite directly from the Workspace "start page".The report suites should be placed in the left side menu, where project links are located now (My Favorite Project + Frequently Viewed Project)When i then select a report suite from the list the project listed should reflect those made/assigned* for that specific report suite.(* assigned: This is a part of the idea Assign a Workspace Project to multiple Report Suites ) As it is now, i need to first choose a project, and then i can shift report suite after. And in many cases you start working on the wrong report suite.A user/analyst would normally know WHERE (specific Website or App), he want to see data for, and then chose WHAT after that.And you would normally have multiple WHAT (project) question to one WHERE (Report Suite):But in Workspace the logic is turned around, where a user first need to chose WHAT, and then have to chose WHERE after that.I'm new to Adobe and Workspa

Background:  - There is no option to manipulate values stored in list variables in Processing rules  Requirement :There is a need to enable list variables to be manipulated by Processing rules (eg clear or set values)

ProblemI spend a good amount of time onboarding new Adobe Analytics end-users and have failed to develop a solid onboarding process. Adobe has done a good job of adding drop zone guides and tips, however, a lot of the valuable information is scattered throughout the Help and Reference section, YouTube, etc. HypothesisI believe if Adobe developed a standardized onboarding Workspace project, including high-level starter (How To) projects, a data dictionary for standard metrics, quick links to tutorials, etc., I’d be able to streamline the onboarding process.  If I’m right, new end-users will not be overwhelmed with the tool, can self-serve at their own pace, and become more engaged through some sort of “gamification” method (i.e. tests to gain advanced access).

It would be great if we could graphically show the page click map in analysis workspace, to visually show the CTR in each link. Similar to what we see with the plug in but within analytics.Not sure how possible this is to implement, but it would be an amazing feature.

Currently, segments are loaded in the "current" report suite, not in the original report suite that they were created in. This creates confusion when later editing segments because the user has to remember which report suite that segment belonged to and dimensions in one report suite may not be the same in another report suite.

At the moment the only way for someone to access a workspace dashboard is for someone to be setup with Adobe Analytics access so they can login to the one dashboard. It would be good if it was possible to access the dashboard in a non logged in form. So you can give someone a link to the workspace which will show them a locked down version of the dashboard they are interested without the need to set them up with full access.This would be useful for more senior leaders within the business who do not need access or want to login each time.
