If undefined is populated in event , will it reflect in the report as unspecified?

If we use clear var on every rule, then doesn't it affect the purpose of eVar (persistence ) ?

Hi, Today I have been reported by 2 colleagues that they don't have the options they use to have to download data etc after a right click on table or a chart. They don't have admin access.I still have the same options as admin.Are there any changes that have happened or just bad luck for today? ThanksSophie

Hi,I am trying to find the average time spent at the page level along with the unique visitors. Can i pull in the metric "Average time on Site" against each page to have it along with unique visitors?Interpretations:1. Is it the average time on the page and not dependent on the unique visitors?2. Hi everyone,Our current Adobe Analytics calendar set up defines a week as Sun-Sat. I am considering updating this to Mon-Sun. To do this, I believe I need to update the calendar at a report suite level to "Modified Gregorian Calendar".The documentation for this has a big caution box that states:"Changing the calendar changes the way data is processed (i.e. the definition of weekly and monthly unique visitors). When a calendar’s definition of weeks and months changes, historical data is not altered. This setting also affects segments based on date ranges."I'm unsure what is meant by "historical data is not altered". Hey everyone,I've stumbled upon an odd issue: when I include a cid query parameter in the page URL, I'm not seeing any hits going to Adobe Analytics. Strangely, removing the query parameter results in hits being sent and rules firing as expected. However, I'm encountering an error in the console:Failed to execute "Send Beacon" for the "Adobe Analytics - All Other Pages" rule.s.join is not a functionTypeError: s.join is not a functionAny thoughts on this? Hello, I have set up some new segments in Adobe Audience Manager and set Adobe Analytics as a Destination. They are coming through into AA, however the Audience Name is "Unknown", the Audience IDs are coming in correctly. I have done this previously and the Audience Names have appeared accurately. Is there a reason why this would be occurring?   

We have created UserID as evar and are receiving userID in report, How can i now calculate my own unique visitor based on userID. We dont want to user defaut unique visitor variable.

Hi, I am interested in the Month of Year dimension being configured to be set to each report suite's calendar type.We use the 4-5-4 NRF calendar and other dimensions such as Day of Week reflect this but Month of Year is only based on January through December. Thank you,Michael 

s.events  value is giving undefined when I declare like this below Here is the code follows: s.linkTrackVars = "events";s.linkTrackEvents = "event140" ;s.usePlugins=true;s.doPlugins = function() {s.events = s.events + ",event140= xyz";}Here , in output I am getting in the calls is event = undefined ,,event140= xyzBut then when , I have other rules having event firing , I am getting event = event50 ,event140= xyz Can anyone tell me , do I need to remove the s.events in --s.events = s.events + ",event140= xyz" but then , how will my other rules events will reflect?Thanks! 

Does anyone know why there are duplicate values in some of the lookup tables from Adobe Analytics Data Feeds? E.g. In the languages.tsv "French (France)" has 2 values, 53 and 737. There are more instances of this in the browser, operating system and country lookup tables as well. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have implemented previous page in adobe analytics using plug-ins. But the problem here is the previous page value is not getting captured for the 1st page of the visit which is resulting in unspecified value in analytics report. Is there any way to sort it out?Thanks.

I'm attempting to educate a client about the various attribution models and frequency and recency information that may affect which one they choose.  A report I ran shows something that makes zero sense to me. It's a Marketing Channel Report with Orders as the metric:The date range is set for the previous 90 days minus the current date.I broke down the Affiliate Channel by Order ID. The First Touch (90 Day) column, shows 5 first touches for one Order ID.How can that be possible?  It doesn't feel "true" so I'm hesitant to show the client without a reasonable explanation for this seemingly invalid result. In fact, the only models that feel "true" to me are Last Touch and Same Touch. The others are all quesionable.Thank you for any insight into this!!

Hi,We are currently using Adobe Analytics API's and inside that we require validation of dimensions and metrics in order to know whether the combination of dimension and metric is possible or not, so for that earlier we were using v1.4 Report.Validate API which use to give us the desired result but now we are currently using v2 version api, so does anybody have an idea how we can achieve this in v2 version API. Thank You!

Hello!This was probably asked before, but I cannot find any answers. I have various custom metrics mainly around visitors (e.g. visits / unique visitors). Many of these metrics show much higher or lower average values across time range, than in the trends analysis. In other words the table values do not correspond at all with the trend analysis. I tried this with various custom metrics in combination with dimensions and segments.  See the attached example for more info. Thanks in advance for any advice.  SolutionSome helped me on Slack:  Because users who return to the site each day will be represented in the numerator every day.But in your table its aggregate for the time period, so they would only appear once in the numerator for the aggregate period. We are in process of upgrading the new AEP mobile SDK on both our iOS and Android apps.Team is leveraging AEP Assurance extension for validation purpose. Wanted to know if we can keep this extension (AEP Assurance) for prod builds as well. What are the recommendations or best practices on this implementation? Any suggestions/ thoughts are highly appreciated. 

Hi, We are using visitorAppendToURL call in a mobile app to support visitor tracking from app to web view, and expect the ECID value in the adobe_mc parameter remains consistent with the ECID generated during the initial app install. However, we found that the ECID value (MCMID) and also the MCAID value in the URL generated from visitorAppendToURL keeps changing. Got an impression that the visitorAppendToURL call somehow failed to retrieve the ECID value from the mobile app internal data storage and thus proceed to generate a new ECID. Anyone has experience on this and how to resolve this? Thanks,John 

Hi, I was running some reports yesterday and out of nowhere I got this error: {    "error": "server_error",    "error_description": "Unable to retrieve company mappings"} Using: https://api.omniture.com/admin/1.4/rest/?method=Report.GetQueue I have since not been able to run any API calls.  Could someone please shed some light on this?  Best
