Users receiving permissions error when trying to update tasks

Since late last night we have multiple users receiving a "You do not have sufficient access to edit this Task" on a project they have contribute rights to. Removing them from the project and re-adding with contribute rights seems to fix it. Anyone else getting this? I'm not sure of the scale yet. Jon Adams Metafile Information Systems Inc.

Hmmm I saw that Tuesday with someone and thought they needed Manage access to move the tasks around in the project. But maybe it was this. I'll take a look later today. Might be an issue. I am running into the same problems. Users cannot update the percent complete from the project task list. They also cannot add an update when in the task. Both situations generate the error message " You do not have sufficient access to edit this Task". It just started happening today with my users. I think it has something to do with the new release deployed last night to my cluster. I just opened a ticket with customer support. I will post the solution if they come back with one. Interesting....we have been receiving similar intermittent errors with the Working On Calendar for well over a year. When users click on a task (even SysAdmins, so it's not a permissions issue) receive an error message saying that they don't have permission to view the task. The conclusion from Dev was that they acknowledged the bug but would not be fixing it due to the impending release of the new WOC. David Cornwell Pentana Solutions
