I'm trying to easily extract total hours tracked in the following views for reporting purposes: Total time by user over a specified period of time Total time by project over a specified period of time Is this possible?

HI Melissa, Yes - absolutely. I recommend creating an Hours report, and using Matrix groupings. Based on what you described, you would likely want to create two reports. The setup is easy and only marginally different for each report. For the first Hours report ("Total time by user over a specified period of time"): On the Groupings tab, switch to Matrix groupings For the Row grouping select the Owner Name field For the Column grouping, choose something like Hour Type Name. If you instead wanted to see the Hours grouped by day/week/month, you could choose Entry Date then select the time interval. For the second Hours report ("Total time by project over a specified period of time"): On the Groupings tab, switch to Matrix groupings For the Row grouping select the Project Name field For the Column grouping, choose something like Hour Type Name. If you instead wanted to see the Hours grouped by day/week/month, you could choose Entry Date then select the time interval. Remember also with the Matrix reports that you can add a second level grouping to rows and/or columns. E.g. Hours by Project, then broken down per user below that. Lastly - to allow users to select the 'Period of Time', you should go to Report Settings and then click on Report Prompts, then add a prompt for 'Entry Date'. Users can then choose this each time they run the report. Otherwise you could hard-code this as a filter if you will always want the report for a specific timeframe (e.g. previous month). Once you've got the data looking right, have a play with the Charts tab of the report settings. Regards, David
