Set default project status?

Are you able to set a default project status to certain project templates?

For example, we have a team that would like to default their projects' status to Active (or Current) when they create a new one, rather than it going to Planning.

I couldn't seem to find it in the project template settings, but I could be missing something :) TIA!

I believe you can do for specific group via set up area. But first you have to unlock the option for project status.

I tried to attach a screen shot for understanding. Believe this helps you.
