Hi all, In the interest of making it easy to deploy Doug's solution, I've created ""https://www.atappstore.com/App/wfpro-classic-task/Default.aspx" WFPro Classic Task ", a package that deploys a dashboard complete with the report, view and grouping described in "https://community.workfront.com/discussions/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MessageKey=30b481b8-a12f-49c5-a4d2-7c0c37da2d7d" this thread . I don't know of a way to see the entire list anymore. This was a "feature" they added by adding the filter. Personally I REALLLLLLY hate it. Give me back my Ctl+f. The idea was supposed to be to improve project calculation performance. But I haven't seen an improvement there either. I don't think an Idea Exchange will work as this was an intentional direction Workfront took. But if you create one I'll upvote it for sure.

Already did. The Workfront production individual is the one who told me to do it. Link: https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000XhOuAAK/detail Tim Brooks Invicro

Hi Vic and Tim, As an alternative reinstate the much desired Ctrl+F behavior, I invite you to consider my "https://community.workfront.com/discussions/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MessageKey=30b481b8-a12f-49c5-a4d2-7c0c37da2d7d&CommunityKey=aaafaff0-5e4e-4e38-8903-f1f990935567&tab=digestviewer#bm30b481b8-a12f-49c5-a4d2-7c0c37da2d7d" "Classic Task List" Workaround post, which I invented out of necessity for a different reason at the time (19.1 Task "jumpiness"), but might now be of use again in this situation. We provided, errmm....strong feedback about the issues with the lack of the ctrl-f functionality. I actually like the new quick filter in some ways, because it's really fast and condenses all the matching lines together....in some cases this is great. However, most often you want to be able to jump to the section of the plan which has the search term, and then see the context of that task with the tasks surrounding it. I did see a preview/concept from Product Management of a "Jump To" feature....it partially addressed the issue but still wasn't a great replacement for ctrl-f, and I haven't heard anything since then regarding this. Hoping something is still coming, because the only workaround (other than using Doug's classic task list hack) is for users to use the quick filter to find the task/s, make a note of their task numbers, then close the quick filter, and then manually scroll back down through the task list to get to those sections. Not so easy in our projects which often have hundreds of tasks. David Cornwell

Hello, Tim, At the moment there is no workaround for displaying the full task list context when using the quick filter, but we're planning several enhancements for the Quick Filter which will allow you to see the found matches within the full task list, among other improvements. Overall, we're planning the following: - Keyboard shortcut (Alt/Option + F) for activating the quick filter - Highlight the found matches - Controls to expand the full list after applying quick filters and view the found items in the full list context - Controls to navigate through the found matches Thanks for your patience while we work on the mentioned improvements!
