A team member submitted an issue/request but is unable to close it when she completes the task (see attached screenshot). Is there permissions I need to change to give them access to do this?

Hi @Berryman29,
We ran into this issue when assigning our new licenses. Only users with a Standard license can close a task. Does your user have a Light or Contributor license?

Hi Amy,
It's an issue that the requester cannot close. The user has a Standard license. She is unable to change the status of her own request/issue. The request is not being turned into a project or task. The user simply wants to enter and close her own issue/tasks.

Hi, We've also run into the case where a user only gets "View" access when they submit a request - instead of Contribute or Manage to change the status. This is part of the Project Settings (Project, Edit).

Hi again, I'm really new to this system. Where do I go to find the Request Settings in your screenshot?

If you navigate to your project, you should see a 3dots menu to the right of the project name. Click that and select EDIT. Then, scroll down a bit, and you'll see your request settings.
