Reporting on Journal Entry - Notes on Field level status changes

I want to report on the changes to Project Planned Completion Date. Unfortunately changing that date, and most fields is recorded as a journal entry and doesn't create a note visible in the notes field. The journal entry object is now exposed to the API, and I know this was some discussion of exposing this as a reportable object. I'm not seeing a way to report on these currently. Hi Melinda, Although it is available through the API (as you point out), I don't believe that the Journal object is exposed through the Workfront reporting engine (which hasn't changed in some time, whereas Journal is a relatively recent addition). So, a few ideas: you did the first one all ready, by trying turning on the Update Feeds to "watch" the Project Planned Completion Date, and see if doing so will record the data you need in the Notes object (which is reportable)...but no go consider taking Baselines, then comparing the Baseline value against the current value to detect the difference consider a calculated field that will detect the previous value (so you can contrast when it changes), with a second input field that will let you "force it" to the current value once the time comes Regards, Doug
