HELP ! his has happened before...and I put in a ticket Wednesday but it's still not resolved. I removed "able to generate proof" (proofing license) from one person and applied that license to another person. Neither have access to generate proofs now even though in WF it shows change. I made sure she is a "user"..... but they just do not communicate with each other. It's very frustrating. anyone know what I need to do? it's URGENT ....help!! @Tegwyn Stockdale , I think I've seen this before. If you can access proofHQ, try checking if the the users permission profile is set to Administrator. This should give them the ability to generate proofs. Polly Co

Thank you for feedback ! I did go in and make her admin (but our designers are not admin and have ability to generate proofs) I logged into WF as the user and still no green check box =( this is preventing her from being able to perform her job.... waiting to hear back from help ticket...sigh Tegwyn Stockdale Production Coordinator / PM BayCare Clearwater, Florida Baycare Health System, Inc.

my help support fixed the problem.... in case anyone else has this issue, and I have not tested it.....but you need to go into ProofHQ FIRST and remove proof license. THEN workfront should show one you removed as available 14 out of 15 used etc. So, then you can assign....it sure doesn't work in opposite direction....that I've tested =) Tegwyn Stockdale Production Coordinator / PM BayCare Clearwater, Florida Baycare Health System, Inc.

That is the workaround Workfront Support gave you?!?!? The two systems of a user sync so except for default email notifications, you should be able to do most of what you need through Workfront itself and then the two systems sync up (just make sure you are a system admin in your WF instance and Admin or Billing Admin in your PHQ instance). With that said though, both Kathy and I have noticed some issues with user sync lately. We will check the proof license box in WF and it doesn't go through the PHQ. I have been noticing that if you change the user's name that seems to always kick off the re-sync. So I will just remove a letter from the last name, save, and then go back and put it in again. This trick no only works if licenses don't "stick" but also if the email address changes and that doesn't seem to go over. We have been talking with some key ProofHQ product people about the user sync and how there seems to be some issues. You will be glad to know that in 2019, they are redoing the user mgmt structure of the Workfront tool and there will supposedly be one user mgmt piece not weird user syncs across different tools. :) Anthony Imgrund FCB
