Proof Due Date on Weekends

Hi all,

We use a proof template with a stage deadline setting of +2 business days 5:00 pm and calculated upon proof creation, and yet, the due dates sometimes occur on weekends.

For example, one was created at 5:30PM on 12/3, and the deadline is reading as December 7, 2025 7:30 PM (which is Sunday night).

Am I missing a setting somewhere that will restrict deadlines to business days (and hours)? Thanks!

Hi James - I was doing some digging into this... but it seems to be an issue. Do you have a Schedule already applied to your Workfront instance, that marks users out of the office on weekends? That is the only way I know to do it in Workfront itself, but in Proof it seems like that ignores the overarching Workfront schedule. 

I realize this isn't an answer - was just curious if you already had Schedules set up, as that is the only way I know to apply out of office timing (along with users marking themselves out on holidays & vacation days), but I'm not positive that applies to Proof as well.

Hi Karen, Yes, we use schedules that mark our users out of office on weekends (the hours specified in the schedule are M-F 8:00AM - 5:00PM). We also factor in company holidays on the schedules and have users input their own PTO.

The proof settings indeed seem to be disconnected from this, and I'm unable to locate any proof-specific settings that would prevent a proof from being due on a weekend.
