New Workfront Interface/Integrations

Hi there, Has anyone carried out an integration with another application that has improved the visualisation of some workflow processes for users?/Have you built a bespoke userface for users who struggle with Workfront? We currently have some teams who struggle to use Workfront. They want a better way to see what work is coming up for themselves and their teams (rather than it popping into their work queue when it is ready to start), and an easier way to move their tasks through the workflow. Someone has suggested an integration with Trello.. but we're also open to other suggestions and recommendations on how to improve visuals for these teams that struggle. If anyone has done an integration with Trello - is it possible? And could you please provide us some more information about it. We have done a fair bit of integration but not to solve this problem. My immediate thoughts were: Does the Team Calendar (or the 'Legacy' My Work Calendar) not give reasonable visibility? Or, are you looking for more of a text-based list of tasks to work on? If so, perhaps the new Workfront Home Beta might work? Thirdly, we built a custom report called 'My Work - List' which lists all users' tasks with some conditional formatting and the fields that are important to them and put it on a tab on the Reporting tab. This way no other filters could confuse them and hide anything from showing. There is also the Workfront Calendar functionality on the Reports tab which gives a traditional calendar format with lots of formatting options. Unfortunately we don't use it because it has a nasty feature of showing Actual Start and Actual Completion dates once they exist. Other than that it has really good customisation functions. I really wish they would just allow us to switch off the Actual Date functionality and then we could use it. Hi Olivia My first contribution to the community here. We have moved away from Trello which has meant some of the features therein have been lost such as lists within cards providing a spawned new card option and task specific reminders, ageing etc, however Trello is swim lane based. We use the agile storyboard view, which is an available view on any project, and to a greater extent the Kanban and Scrum team boards. The Scrum boards allow you to forecast commitment expectations/pipeline work and the "Working On" tab does offer a user filter as does the backlog. We too struggle a bit with the lack of filtering on the actual team board views. Jira allows project, user etc filters to diminish the card counts which does focus users more effectively. I'd be keen to understand the challenges you face and efforts taken that may or may not have worked and why. Have a great day. Nigel Dixon MaritzCX
