New Users Unable to Search for Historical Requests

Hello Community! I have a user that was added to our instance about six months ago, recently she reported that she cannot find old requests (older than 6 months) when she searches for them. Is this a matter of settings for her account? The settings in the issues (this is a request queue)? I checked sharing and all the older requests have inherited permissions. Regardless of what detail she used (including the WF reference ID), she could not find it. I could and was able to tag her in an update so she could get to it. Any helpful links are welcome.
