management of disclosure language (text)

Hello, does anyone have any suggestions for an Adobe product to help with disclosure management (text)?  Looking for a web-based system to store legal disclosures that could tie into our Workfront projects.  Today we are doing this by the submitter opening a project and manually providing the disclosure that is needed in the creative asset.  Open to errors, mis- keying by submitter, designer, proofreader etc. Looking for a more automated process.  thanks

We really haven't had much success with this - but an early idea that I pondered was creating a description based field for each disclosure, and then using a multiple choice option to 'select' the right disclosure to be used. The disclosure would display based on show/hide logic of the multiple choice.

It would require someone to 'own' the disclosure maintenance unless you decided to let Fusion update the description fields based off o populated excel that it pulled each night.

Hi @Stacey_Key

How about a dummy project with tasks, each named for the disclosure type. Use canned fields or additional custom fields as needed on the task.

On the project, use an external lookup field to call the API with .../task/search?projectID={fill in project ID}&fields=name

I would add a section that is admin only with a writable paragraph field. Use Fusion to populate that field (looking up the desc or other fields from the selected task).

In the default section where the external lookup is, create a calculated field that just refers to the hidden field (this displays the disclosure in read-only form)

Let me know if you want more details.

Hi @Stacey_Key,

Depending on the complexity of your legal disclosures, I invite you to consider our Magic Reports solution, which can be extended to have either a calculate parameter determine or a user choose (from a Workfront dropdown) to include one or more such disclosures be added as an Appendix whenever the report is generated. The source of the PDFs would be behind a special Workfront Project configured for that purpose, and the "first part" of the report(s) would be drawn from Workfront data, tailored to your specification. I'd be happy to chat further via doug.denhoed@atappstore.com.

Regards,

Doug
