Make dashboards externally viewable?

I know that you can make reports that are externally visible using the gear icon under sharing, can you do the same with Dashboards? What is your best practice if you have to share a Dashboard with folks not inside the Workfront system?

We'd create an External User and share it with that user. Recipients WILL have to log into WF to view a dashboard.
