Is there any way to link a task in Project A to a Project B?

I have tasks in a master project (project A) that the assignee starts their own project for (project B). I want the % complete of the task in Project A to update as the overall progress of Project B progresses. Is this possible?

Hi Pamela, this sounds very similar to cross-project predecessors... if I'm understanding your question correctly that is. Check out this article and come back if it's not doing what you're asking.

This is not possible automatically, upto my knowledge. But we have to update progress of task in Projects B to which the task in Project A is connected. After connecting projects using Cross Project Predecessors, it does not update the planned start date & planned completion date. It only holds for one date either planned start or planned completion date. This type function is very much required in Workfront.
