It's important to develop a vision of the goals of the implementation with your executives. Once they define the vision and have bought in on it, then obviously the key is to show progress and deliver on that vision. As long as the execs are happy that you are making progress then they will help with change management for the rest of the organisation. Of course, you need to do the same thing with your users and mid-level managers. Work out what their pain points are and what you can deliver for them. As long as those key things are being delivered then they are more likely to put up with other negatives that result from the change. David Cornwell
