You can see this through the 'People' tab. Either 'People', 'Planning', 'Resource Planning' if you have the appropriate permissions. Here an exclamation mark at the top indicates over-allocation during the period, and then the red highlights show who is over-allocated. You can filter (and save the filter) on the left to a particular team/group/role/resource pool etc., and turn on the graphing use the graph icon in the top right corner (cropped from this image)
Or you can go to 'People', 'Teams', 'Working on' to show individual assigned hour per day (totals are red if they are over the user's FTE):
Note that a similar view is available within a project (showing only the project team) by clicking on 'Staffing', 'scheduling'. 'Staffing' is under the 'more' menu of a project by default if your admin hasn't modified the layout template. You can find a good summary of these options at
