Custom Field Question

Level 2
I would like to put a drop down field on a custom form on a request queue. I would like the user to select a program value. Can I have that be a calculated field that pulls the actual program values for Workfront? And, to go a step further, I'd like to limit the program values to a specific portfolio, if possible. Steve - I love your post! We have a similar need. Just curious - did you mean to post this in the community forum so it can go into the enhancement request queue? I included a link for the forum below, if helpful. -Phil "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/topics?flash_digest=5b2ae55a70f7e19483eb9883944159c2001e3be6">https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/topics?flash_digest=5b2ae55a70f7e19483eb9883944159c... Hi, Steve. Calculated fields can only access fields that are on the same object that your custom form is on. So in your case, you can access only Issue-based fields for calculation. A list of your existing Programs is not likely to be available, in any case, unless you maintain that in a custom field somewhere (e.g., on a "reference project" of some sort). You can add a new item to the Idea Exchange, or try upvoting this one, which is along the same lines as what you're looking for: "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003755734-Add-a-search-field-in-the-Request-form-which-pulls-data-within-the-system-and-auto-fills" https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003755734-Add-a-search-field-in-the-Reques... . ~Eric Eric Manning Language Line Translation Solutions
