Custom Category (Text Field) for the Issues log

Hi team, Has anyone created a custom column (Text field) in the issues log. For example... on a project, I want to segregate issues by "Production Issues" or "Infrastructure Issues" or "Downstream system issues" etc. Can it be done? Thanks.

I believe what you want to create are "queue topics" - have you looked into that.
