Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if someone could help me out here since I haven't been getting much traction on the ctrl-c and ctrl-v functionality.
Before the 2019.1 release, our PM's were able to highlight text from a calculated field, copy (using ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) into another field within their projects. The removal of this functionality has been interrupting workflows and causing our PM's major headaches when changes need to be made to their Version Codes. Instead of simply copying and pasting the Version Code they now need to manually enter it on the column, which not only causes more room for error but is super tedious.
I opened a ticket with support and we were offered workarounds to this by either creating a task report filtering for tasks for the project, or by selecting the individual task (in this case the Version Code task) and selecting edit to copy the Version Code value into the field, but this only creates more work for everyone involved.
Has anyone else experienced this in their instance? If so, I have submitted a workfront idea and would appreciate anyone who would upvote this. "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360028616014-2019-1-Task-List-Improvement-Copy-and-Paste-Functionality">
