Change Project to Current Notification

We have included a custom field on an Issue converted to a Project which contains the original Submitter name. We'd like to notify the submitter when the project status changes to Current. Is there any way to write a script, or something which could do that within WF? Thanks, Chandra Chandra Asken San Francisco Symphony

Under 'Setup', 'Project Preferences', 'Tasks and Issues' you have an option to keep the original issue and tie it's resolution to the project. If that is selected, every time the project changes a status to one that has the same three letter key as an issue, the issue updates to that status (until it's closed - then the updates stop). So if you have matching project and issue status keys: Project Status Issue Status New (NEW) New (NEW) Current (CUR) Underway (CUR) Testing (TES) Almost Ready (TES) Deploy (DEP) Rolling out (DEP) Updating the project to 'Testing' will automatically update the issue to 'Almost Ready' because the keys match. You then have a notification under 'requests I have made' for every time the issue status changes. https://experience.workfront.com/s/article/Understanding-Resolving-and-Resolvable-Objects-1847706406...
