Automatic Replies to requests

Is it possible to send an automatic reply to requests within a specific request queue? For example, if a user submits a request, we would like to advise them (temporarily) that response times are running longer than expected. Dave Randall PMP Atlas Copco

Hi Dave, On a different angle, when a Queue is running slow... A simple convention could be to parenthetically state the expected response times at the end of each request queue Project, proactively setting expectations as the end user is choosing their request, since they'd see something like this in the Request dropdown: Request abc [expect 4 hrs] Request def [expect 1 day] Request hij [expect 20 min] If that's Too Much Information (or too much to maintain on top of being too busy), the convention could be simplified to just posting warnings, like this: Request abc Request def [EXPECT DELAYS] Request hij For better or worse, seeing such a warning upfront might lead certain requestors to balk and defer/drop their submission, reducing the stress on the delayed queue. Thanks Doug, we've discussed sending the information via a notification but the team wanted to investigate a more automated way to message after each request. Dave Randall PMP Atlas Copco Tools
