Job Summary

This is a new, expanded role in our marketing department configured to deliver significant impact on our traffic management, project coordination and program alignment across the bank. We invite you to consider joining Flagstar as we work to expand our services and efficiencies to support one vision and a large (growing) organization!

Our ideal candidate will work in a hybrid environment with 2-days per week in our Manhattan office. You are experienced with the WorkFront platform and will be a player coach leading two direct reports. As a seasoned WorkFront professional you will help guide the group with best practices and efficiencies so that the department can accelerate toward greater effectiveness. We believe the successful candidate will have significant experience at a larger financial institution working in an empowered traffic management function.

Of equal significance, you will be the team’s point person managing and updating audit requests, risk and process controls, and ad hoc requests at the enterprise level.

This position is well suited for a highly organized, experienced project and traffic management professional seeking an opportunity to lead. You will work across multiple business units as well as engage with compliance, legal and subject matter experts. In this role, you will help transform the way the department drives its work.

Pay Range: $105,900.00 - $160,238.00 - $203,100.00

Job Responsibilities:

  • Program management – hands-on traffic supervision, workflow and Workfront management includes responsibility for department-wide oversight of all active projects including project starts and dependencies with business leads, compliance and legal. Focus on process improvement, calendar management, trouble-shooting, on-the-ground leadership and communication. Included here is oversight of calendar, updates to calendar, and coordination for trademark and legal submissions.
  • Project management and leadership for internal audits, special requests, and ERMC activities.
  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent concentration required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum ten years' professional work experience in marketing, financial services, or the client-side of banking.
  • Extensive experience working with Adobe Workfront.
  • Experience working with cross-department processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of marketing and sales practices, methods, and effective campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in marketing, including regulatory issues.
  • Strong knowledge of planning, and graphic, print, digital production.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management both inside and outside the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others in effective process improvement and management. (i.e., help drive change)
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate sales and marketing programs.
  • Ability to coordinate corporate wide activities.
  • PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database reporting systems.
