Submit New Requests from the Mobile App

Adding full Requests support to the app, allowing users to view and submit work requests right from their smartphones. This will be a great tool for those who mainly work outside of their offices and want to quickly create a new work request along with, for example, attaching a camera pic to it as a description. You’ll be able to do it without taking out your laptop or getting back to your desktop. This feature will include the functionality to quickly access and view your submitted requests, submit new requests just as you do from your desktop - including requests with custom forms, and to attach documents and pictures to them.

We need this in order to create request on the ongo, must requesters are off site other cities, venues, going from building to building

If this is added, it would be nice to be able to do the PM of the job as well. Attach templates, schedule, assign, etc.

We're glad to announce that Submitting New Requests from the mobile app is now in development! The release is scheduled for mid-summer. Here's what will be included in this feature:

• View all your open and closed requests in a dedicated page in the app.
• Submit new requests just as you do from your desktop.
• Fill-in the custom forms attached to your new requests.
• Attach images from camera roll and new pics from camera to your requests. The Android version of the app will also support attaching local and Google Drive files.

The Android version will also have a Beta program where you can test out the new functionality before it makes it to the final release and provide your feedback. Stay tuned!

In fact, we are a couple of weeks away from launching a beta program for Submitting Requests. The beta will be available only for Android users and will last for about a month. Here is the support article. You can download and install the Workfront Beta app from Google Play store, just like any other app. The Workfront Beta app can be installed alongside your current version of Workfront for Android.

We are looking for beta testers who are interested in using the beta app and providing feedback on this new functionality. Please dive in and give us some feedback: we love hearing from our users!

Hello,

is it possible to Attach Multiple images from camera roll and new pics from camera to your requests.

Currently it only let you select 1 image @ a time its takes a Long time.
