My organization is challenged greatly by the inability to copy the initial requestor and contact over to the project when converting. These are key fields for our users and we need this information in order to work with our customers. We have been using the sponsor field to add in the primary contact but this is not adequate for our needs and causes more work. We are a very production based (not project based) organization thousands of short-turn jobs. We aren't able to display the customer information easily to our staff which causes frustration. We created a custom form that copies information over from the request but it is buried in the project details.
We also need the ability to update the requestor and contact once a project is created. We have 80,000+ staff in our organization and they move frequently from dept to dept. We often need to update work mid-stream to accommodate these shifts in personnel.
