Please allow fields in custom forms to be locked!

Description -

Why is this feature important to you - We have fusion scenarios set up for specific fields in custom forms. When folks can enter in any information within a single-select drop-down it causes fusion errors, time in me deciphering what the heck was added, and allows to much power to be given to someone in a non-admin role.

How would you like the feature to work - Follow the thought process for "mandatory fields" and add a checkbox that says "should this field be locked."

Hi @JenniferMa10 I just tested this on my end and I am not able to enter in my own unique text into a single-select dropdown field. Interested to see what others say about this! No doubt that's frustrating. For what it's worth, I'm using Windows and Chrome.

In the interim, you could use Validation Logic to show an error message if users enter anything other than the dropdown options you provide!

@-JC

I am using Windows and Chrome and can type in an entry. Other folks on my team can as well. See attached. This is a challenge for governance as well as fusion errors.Drop-down.jpg

Same, @_Manish_Singh. I should have said the same - I can enter the text, but I cannot save it. @JenniferMa10 if your users can save the custom text I would suggest sending in a Support ticket as I don't think that's by design.
