Planned Task Hours Allocation on Timesheet

Hi!

 

Description: Would like to show Planned Task Allocation in Timesheet at the task level. 

 

Why it would benefit us: At timesheet approval, approvers are blindly approving actual time without the ability to review planned to actual time. Therefore, conversations with team members who consistently go over hours that relate to budget on projects are delayed. We need the ability to discuss these situations prior to approving the timecard to give approvers and team members time to adjust before approvals are processed.

 

How it could potentially work: Preferably just a column, but of course could be grayed out next to the task like it's presented in workload balancer.

 

Current Behavior: Not displayed on timesheet

 

Recommendations we have been given but do not work for us:

Build a report: - Building a report is not efficient when the data is there, it just needs to be presented. An approver should not have to review the data in two places. 

Review the task summary within the timesheet: - This works only when 1 team member is assigned the task. For tasks with multiple team members, it shows the total allocated which is not useful.
