When a user is out of office they should be able to set an auto reply to directed updates and in the reply be able to tag the user/team that is covering for them.
This is a great idea. I'm glad that you are following up on the idea and holding us accountable. Unfortunately, the team is currently unable to build this feature. Right now, we're fully occupied with the recent Adobe acquisition and other initiatives, so our development resources are limited for the rest of 2021/early 2022. Since this is officially on our radar, we are always happy to revisit this in the future; but at this point, we don't know when that will be.
This came up from our side too. If you move communications away from email, these types of things need to be implemented. Even something like adding an icon next to your name like Slack does helps to understand if that user is OOO.
