Improvement functionality in Workfront to prevent people from Logging Time to a closed task or project

Why is this feature important to you - To prevent people logging time to a closed task or projects that are 100% complete and improve project data quality for resource management 

How would you like the feature to work -

• Create a functionality to prevent people from logging time to a closed task/100% complete task in Workfront.
• Create a functionality to prevent people from logging time to a complete project in Workfront.
• Create a functionality to prevent people from logging time to a unassigned tasks or project in Workfront..

 Current Behaviour -resources can log time against closed task, projects and unassigned task

Why is this feature important to you - Improve project data quality and time management 

How would you like the feature to work

• Create a functionality to prevent people from assigning resources to a Parent task in Workfront.
• Create a functionality to auto-populate percentage complete for each task based on the time logged to the task. Once the planned hours for the task is finished the task should be 100% complete.

 Current Behaviour - Resources can be assigned to a parent task and percentage complete are manually entered which is time consuming for project managers

 Hi @meshackOm - I had a similar question about preventing people from logging tasks to closed tasks and projects - this only addresses one of your questions but I found that you can actually restrict people from being able to log time on a closed project: it's in setup -> Timesheets & Hours -> Preferences -> Where users can log time. I haven't found a solution for restricting complete tasks.

Hope that may be a help in the meantime.
