Home: Sort by Planned Start Date

The new home screen only allows for easy viewing of issues by how soon they should be finished, by adding the option to sort by "Planned Start Date" it would more easily allow for identifying when tasks should be started, which, assuming good estimations when setting up the task list, is in many cases more important than knowing when the task needs to be completed when selecting tasks to work on.

My team will not move to Home until this functionality is implemented. What good is the planned completion date if the task takes 3 weeks to complete and they don't know to pick it up until it's too late?

This is also the same issue with agile teams, the default view only has an expected completion date.

Hi Tom and Aileen - I don't think this is exactly what you are looking for as it is about customizing the left hand side. But I think it meets the need to have some way to look at Start Date.

It has met voting requirement for consideration and in Planned status. I just saw it today (I did upvote your idea a few weeks ago!).
