It would be awesome if when you made a change to a schedule, all tasks impacted would be highlighted. Smartsheet has this functionality - when you update a date that is a predecessor for other tasks, all those other tasks will highlight so you can easily see the trail of tasks that is impacted by your update and review for accuracy.
