Formatting in Paragraph Text Fields

My Team would like the ability to apply formatting to paragraph text fields, such as:

• bullets,

1. numbered bullets,
   1. sub-bullets

• and other forms of spacing and indentation.

Currently, when a user attempts to apply such formatting to an Updates paragraph text field, the formatting is immediately lost and the text is automatically left justified.
