When a new Issue or Task is added to a project, if the Task/Issue view contains a custom form field and the PM used in-line edit to populate the field 9 times out of 10 a form that we do not want attached is automatically attached.
I have done some testing on this and checked with support. The first form created that uses that custom field is what Workfront automatically attaches. This results in a lot of maintenance / confusion on the part of the PMs. We have older forms in the system that are no longer used, however, because they exist they get attached. We also have different forms for different type of projects. It would be nice if you could include on the Project Template and also edit in the project settings "default" forms that should automatically be attached to any Task / Issue that is added to the project. This would also eliminate a layer of exception reporting where we are looking for Tasks/Issues that are missing forms and would help ensure that a standard form(s) is attached if a new Task/Issue is added.
