We have several situations where a project and tasks aren't planned to start until day X, but the project and tasks statuses are showing At Risk.
We have tried changing how the project is scheduled from (start date or completion date) and it doesn't make a difference.
After many months working with the support team, we have been told this is because the statuses calculate from the completion date and since the tasks are still at 0%, it shows the project and the tasks as At Risk.
It would be ideal to have statuses calculate from start date instead of completion date. However, if there's an underlying reason for this functionality, then at least have the option to change it to provide the optimal experience for our teams.
