Currently, only project managers can edit the Actual date fields for a given task. The issue with this is that the task owner does not know the exact start and end date when the task is worked on at all times. The task owner does not always reliability user the interface to "Start" and "End" the task on the actual dates. Because task owners do not have the ability to change the Actual Start and End dates, the project manager has to track down each task owner for accurate dates. This is not efficient for the project manager.
A task assignee should have edit rights to the Actual date fields of a tasks so that they can provide more accurate details as they are the best to know this information.
