Allow Stacked Documents Retain Unique Version Name

Between our creative, editorial, and account manager functions there are a lot of edits that are made on materials.

We would like to stack the materials on top of each other as the edits are received and made by responsible parties. Once edits are made we name them with the corresponding version i.e. version 1, 2, 3. But when you stack documents on each other they will only show the version 1 instead of the unique name that was given to the material. This makes it difficult to identify the most recent version.

Ultimately we would like the name that is given to the new edited document to show up instead of it always showing as version 1

This would be very helpful. Consistent naming conventions across teams are not followed regularly, so when documents get uploaded with V1, V2 in the titles it would be useful to keep that in addition to the time/date stamp update.

Totally agree with the above original post and the comment, we have exactly the same issue in our studio where we want to retain unique proof names (v1, V2 etc) between versions of artwork and the current system does not allow for this to happen.

I recently submitted a support ticket because this seems like it is a break and I was very surprised when they told me Workfront was designed to work this way. The initial version's filename is what is displayed in the reviewer's Work Lists which causes a lot of confusion. This definitely seems like a design flaw since the document name is updated with new versions but the proof name is not.
