Adjusted Planned Start Date

We would like a calculated field built into tasks that would display a New Planned Start Date that is based off of the Actual Completion Date of the Predecessor Task. For example, if Task 1 completes 2 days before the Planned Completion Date, then task 2 would have an Adjusted Start Date two days sooner than the Planned Start Date. It would be great if we could then make the My Work area go off of this, instead of just the Commit Date or the Planned Start Date.
