Ability to fix view, filter or grouping prior to error message

Sometimes when creating a new view, filter or grouping in text mode, you accidentally mess up the code and an error (see screenshot) appears. Unfortunately, the error message takes over the entire screen and the only way to fix it is to go into your Setup area and delete the view, filter or grouping and try again. Instead of blanking out the entire screen for the user, providing a poor experience, can we just leave the view, filter and grouping options available for an easy fix, similar to when a report breaks and you get a red error message.

@ewanh we still face this issue in some cases, although with the new filters. So I disagree with changing the statu as it is not fixed yet.
