Ability to customize timesheet UI

Ultimately, it would be nice to have the ability to add fields. For example, adding the project number next to the project on the timesheet would be great.

Along with customizing the fields and layout, we would like to customize the landing page. in Classic by default users would be given the current week's timesheet. It would be nice to be able to customize the landing page like we can in other areas of the tool.

We would want to customize the number of days that show up on the timesheet. We create monthly timesheets and prior to the 22.3 Release, the timesheet showed one week with the ability to choose which week to display. We want to limit our users to only see one week at a time rather than the whole month.

Yeah 22.3 hadn't been out and hour and I got my first complaint from a user.

Not including myself: I tend to have the timesheet open on small sidekick display running at only 1280x1024 and since we run bimonthly (15th, EOM) timesheets I get three weeks and it squashes the time entry area down to a thin column with a horizontal scroller. Annoying and a bit disorienting.

To be fair, at least they had the presence of mind to make sure 1 week shows-up in that column (yay!) but ideally I'd like it back to the old "paging by week" mechanism as the horizontal scrolling is less precise and not as clear what it will do.

Also, General Time options with long names bleed into the time entry area and block time entry.

Thank you for the submission! We think this is a good enhancement to the Workfront platform overall and this product area in particular!

Workfront currently prioritizes large-scale, foundational enhancements such as the new Reporting experience and changes to the core data model, so this item does not fit in our near-term roadmap. As such, I am marking this as Declined now, but we'll keep this in our backlog for the improvements for this area so that we can revisit the decision in the future.

Status changed to: Declined

Since this item has now been Declined (for now), I invite those interested to consider our UberTimesheet solution, which has several additional features including (most recently, an Auto-save checkbox).

Doug
