Adobe Workfront Fusion

Has anyone successfully connected Workfront with Aprimo DAM using Fusion? Our use case is to upload final files from Workfront in the DAM, but we’re running into issues - especially files over 20MB. Would love to pick your brain if you’ve successfully done this integration! 

We’ve built a Fusion workflow that creates new Programs within Portfolios as Child Campaigns, storing specific custom field information on the Program object using custom forms that collect the information on the request. I’ve been able to add additional fields to the mapping, but for some reason, the fields I’ve added in the last week don’t want to appear.I’ve checked the that the Read a Record (Fetch Request) IS pulling in the data to the correct fields:and that the Create a Record (Create Program) is showing the fields as things I can map, but it’s not showing them as fields I can pull in (similar to Regions, it should be showing 2. DE:Primary Solution SingSel as a mapping options): Underneath the Read a Record, there SHOULD be Primary Solution SingSel, Is this For, Campaign Type, etc, but they don’t show up. I’ve checked every custom form, made sure the fields are on all of them, run the workflow dozens for times, I’m at a loss for way to get Create a Record to actually give me the

Hi,Is there a way to search for a WF Planning user in Fusion, given that user’s ID? I am trying to get the name and email from a user, based on the ID provided in the Created By field of a Planning record. I know I can search for a user details via this API internal/user?name=<user_name>  but as far as I could tell, it does not allow me to search by ID. Thanks in advanceJoao

I am semi-new to Fusion and have built very simple scenarios of assigning individual assets to specific owners and while that is going well, this set up doesn't account for current workload, priorities or time-off. I was wondering if there is a way to pull in the Workload Balancer from Workfront into the Fusion scenarios to round-robin assign the incoming work based on workload vs. auto-assigning to one individual? 

I’m creating a Fusion scenario that renames requests according to what queue topic is selected.  The watch event only returns the Topic ID.  Is there a way to get the name from the ID?  Thanks in advance!!!

Hello ,I would like to purge all redundant reports on the Workfront system. (i.e.,) There are a few hundreds of reports that have zero results among the thousands of records we have. Is there a way to identify them ?Happy to see a solution either on workfront or via FusionThanksHarih  

I am trying to run a scenario that will trigger when a custom field is edited. The issue I am having is configuring a filter based on the oldState value being blank. Meaning if the field changes, but data existed in the field prior to the change, the scenario will not proceed.How can I configure a module to read the values of the oldState shortly after the trigger? Thank you

Hi all,We have a lot of projects where assignments change often and sometimes entire teams are changed on a project, and thus people are unassigned tasks and others are reassigned. The challenge we’re facing is that when users are no longer assigned to tasks in a project, they remain in the “people” section (projectUsers), so the project still shows up in their dashboards and reports. I thought I saw a scenario to remove users from the projectUsers when no tasks were assigned to them in that project, but I can’t find anything now and I’m having a tough time working through my own scenario for this. Has anybody created a scenario to do this and would be willing to share your blueprint? Thanks!-Steven

I’m working on a Power BI dashboard for some of our business partners.  I’m told that delays with these projects frequently stem from the partners failing to approve proofs in a timely fashion.  In addition to project info, I am hoping to show folks info on current tasks and any pending proof approvals.I know that proofs use a completely different API than does Workfront.  My thought is to create a custom form for documents and populate it with reviewer/status info obtained from a Workfront Proof module (that way I wouldn’t have to hassle with making a Workfront Proof API call in PBI).  I tested the back end of this idea--pulling reviewer names/roles/approval status, aggregating those values, and updating a custom field attached to my document with the aggregated text--and it worked.I’m now trying to figure out the best way of isolating the population of objects I need for the front end of the scenario.  For my initial test, I’m hoping to pull documents with pending approvals for proje

I’ve created a scenario that automatically creates a Jira ticket when the issue status is set to In Progress. The scenario runs, however I need to create it for individual teams to ensure only their issues are adding to their Jira boards. I currently have a filter in place between the watch events and read a record for the teamID, however I’m hesitant to run the scenario because there’s a chance it would pull every other request that is newly In Progress to the incorrect board. Does anyone have any experience/feedback on this or if the recommendation is to create a new Webhook with the teamID as a filter in the first module rather in between the two? 

I am attempting to run a scenario that will get the entryDate of each document version in a document folder. I am successful there, but need to understand how I can extract the newest file (by entryDate) and move each other file into a specified folder.Can someone elaborate on how to go about this? Thanks!

I noticed the new Functions area in Fusion and was intrigued. Although we don’t have a current use for the section, I can imagine that it can be extremely useful in the future.I’ll be honest: I’m a “refugee” from magazine publishing. I’ve got giant sucking-chest-wound-sized holes in my knowledge base. At this point, I’m trying to think through “unknown unknowns” when it comes to using such cool-looking new functionality. So, for people who didn’t yoke themselves to a dying industry for most of their careers, what are you most excited to do with this new functionality? And has Adobe considered a “cookbook” in the way that it has with Fusion?-j (wishing I had a degree in data science)  

We are looking to drive custom notifications and other actions once a task’s Can Start {canStart} updates;Examples of actions when a task can start moves from false to true:  Add note and task assignee informing them their task can begin Review documents and add reference information to updates from previous tasks Review fields on other tasks and update downstream tasks as appropriate     Currently, there does not appear to be a way to watch this field, record or event which watches the system canStart field on a task.  

I keep getting a “Forbidden resource” pop-up when opening Fusion scenarios recently: Is anyone else getting this?  I can still run/edit the scenarios, but I can no longer access the Incomplete Executions tab.  Last week I got an email about an incomplete execution; the scenario in question runs once daily, so I was able to able to go into the History tab and look at the most recent entry to find the issue.  My concern is with scenarios that have instant triggers--if any runs have an incomplete execution, it may be harder to identify them using just the History tab (some scenarios have hundreds of executions per day).I wanted to check if anyone else has seen this behavior in their Fusion instance.

Hi! I’m trying to map an array into the planning update records module, I run into a validation failed error when I map an array, but it works fine when I pass it as individual IDs. I also tried creating a JSON and updating the record with the planning Custom API module, but that also throws the same error. How can I go about this? 

I recently refreshed my SB01 and then discovered that all my Fusion scenarios connected to SB01 or Preview are broken. Has anyone else encountered this, and how do you restore the connections without having to rebuild the webhooks and api calls? 😭

It is just me or do the log files seem to be even slower to process and post? I am looking at a history screen with 9 runs that have yet to process the history - all of them are at least 15 mins old. Makes it hard to diagnosis issues... just sayin

Logged into Fusion this morning to see a new banner message: “Important Update: From April 15, your current login/password combination for Adobe Workfront Fusion will stop working as we complete our migration to Adobe IMS. Please contact your Adobe Admin Console administrator or your Support team to be assigned.”I currently use an email and password for a service account in our WF instance (created prior to our migration to Admin Console) to log into Fusion.  Does this mean I will need to be provisioned under my own WF account?  Also, most of my scenarios use a connection created for the service account.  Will those continue to work unaffected?  I’m assuming the change is purely for login purposes and would not effect existing scenarios or my ability to edit them?

I am trying to map an array variable to the Planning Module but no matter what I do, I get an error "Array of objects expected in parameter 'F6914a6c02f21335b7b794d35'." I have tried to just have the ID numbers, the "id: xxxxxxx" and plenty of other things to get this to work but I don't know what it wants and I can not find any documentation on Planning Module specifics.  When I put the variables in one at a time in the without mapping, it works (but I will never know the set amount of objects so I need the array). Hi,Let me explain what I’m trying to do.We have a custom user typeahead field. When that field is populated with someone’s name and the ticket is raised, I want the ticket status to change to CLIENT REVIEW. Once the status changes, the approver should be the person whose name is entered in the typeahead field (the name could be different for each ticket). After that person approves, the ticket status should move back to NEW, where the default approval process (applied to all requests) should start.My Fusion scenario works up to fetching the user ID from the typeahead field, but I’m unable to set the approver based on that field.Can you confirm whether this is possible? Regards,Diksha G.
