Re: Using Events - Adobe LiveCycle 04-05-2010
Hi,I've done some tests and was able to make it work. Looks like exception regarding "corrupt event data" was getting logged because mandatory field for TaskDeadLined event instance was empty at run time.I changed the "throw TaskDeadlinedEvent" properties and added mapping as /MapContent/TaskID=1234 (just for testing purpose). After that, invoked the process again, found that TaskA and TaskB were in ToDo list. Completed TaskA manually and found that TaskB also got completed automatically after co...

Re: strFormat possibilities for format-dateTime-withFormat - Adobe LiveCycle 06-07-2009
In workbench help -> Creating processes -> Xpath function reference -> String functions -> Date and time parameters section describes different representations used in expressing date/time.So, e.g. if you pass yyyy-mm-dd as strFormat, it should return date in that format.if you pass mm/dd/yyyy, it should format input datetime in that way and return it back.

Re: Unable to see Stalled action errors :( - Adobe LiveCycle 06-07-2009
Is it happening for any specific stalled operation or is it across the board? Could you paste the Stacktrace from error logs?

Re: stalling action-instance: with message: javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: Invocation error.; CausedByException is: - Adobe LiveCycle 06-07-2009
Looks like there is some issue in sending email results. Perhaps service failed while sending out email with results.

Re: Converting TIF to PDF, wrong resolution - Adobe LiveCycle 12-05-2009
Most likely this feature was added on 8.0.1 SP3 as part of a private patch. However, it's also added in 8.2.1.So, upgrading to 8.2.1 would be a recommended option.. For the private patch, you may want to contact enterprise support as it could be based on your M&S.

Re: Converting TIF to PDF, wrong resolution - Adobe LiveCycle 11-05-2009
PDFG service configuration page has a setting called "Use Acrobat for Image conversion". Set this to "true" so that all image conversion requests in PDFG will use Acrobat behind the scene. From services view in Adminui, search for pdfg generation service to access that configuration page.

Re: IPP - The User is marked Obsolete - Adobe LiveCycle 02-02-2009
In log4j.xml file, increase logging level to "DEBUG".e.g. in JBoss\server\all\conf\log4j.xml file, for "DEBUG".e.g.----Once that is done, server log should provide more details regarding the authentication failure as specified in the message above. Perhaps it might contain error code from Active Directory. If the lower level message contains AD error code, you might be able to look up that error code on MSDN.

Re: Choose a valid JDK location - Adobe LiveCycle 02-02-2009
Can you post the exception Stacktrace from the log, which will provide more information to narrow down? Also, what version of LC are you installing, Is it 8.0.x or 8.2.x?

Re: Error OCCURRED: Failed to connect to LiveCycle server via RMI. Make sure that the server is running - Adobe LiveCycle 02-02-2009
May be you could use "netstat" or other tools like "ActivePorts" to ensure that ports established are correct. Also try if jnp://127.0.0.1:1099 works or not, if ports are correct.
