Re: add code to generate filename to existing "Save As" button - Adobe LiveCycle 13-06-2013
Did you get this figured out? I have a related issue where I want to save the form file with a save button to a specific path and also name it according to the value of several variables in the filled out form. i.e "Code_serial_workorder_date.pdf"If I could email that file with the same button that would be even better.I have been looking around the forums but I have yet to see something like that.DT

I have a form with several drop-down lists. I'd like users to have the option of typing into the box and jump to the entry they are looking for, as opposed to scrolling through the list.I've found nothing within livecycle to enable this feature. Please help!

Hi. I just installed the trial version of LC ES2. I am in the process of customizing/automating a PDF form that my boss prepared in Acrobat. I'm trying to either autopopulate fields or include drop down lists wherever possible. One thing I'd like to do is have the Date/Time field auto-fill as soon as someone opens the form to create a new order.I opened the form in LC, deleted the existing text field and replaced it with a date/time field.I set the presence to "visible", the locate to "viewer's ...
