Hi Paul, I've used the above script onto the reset butoon, but it doesn't work and to no avail.... may i know, if there is a Yes/No radio button, what value does it return? is it "0" or "Off"? can i script:if (radiobutton.rawvalue = "0" && radiobutton.rawvalue = "Off"){ Image.presence = "hidden";}i tried plotting the scripts onto different objects to see if it works.

Hi Paul, thanks for the advice. The submit button will validate and prompt users that there are mandatory fields not filled in, will the print button works the same too?Can i also print straightaway without having to show the print window?

Hi Paul, sorry, maybe i wasn't clear enough....I have a reset button on my form, this will clear all form data when clicked.I have an image which, when the user hit on reset button, it still remains visible. So i need a script on the click event of the reset button hide it or to make it invisible. Not that there was an image on the reset button.

Hi,May i know how do i post a "Print" script into an existing submit button sharing the same principles to validate mandatory fields? So once a User clicks on the submit and print button, fields will be validated, printing will be triggered without having to display the print window and the email functioning as per normal?please help. Thanks.

Yes, Tom... my mistake...'But i have another problem....i have a "clear form" button on it.. is there a way to remove or hide the signature when user clicks "clear form"?i've tried entering the script Image1.presence = "hidden"; after the defaulted "xfa.host.resetData()" onto the click event, it doesn't clear the form anymore...Lastly, may i know if i can enter more "if" statement on the same event? for eg:if (Rdo_Q1.rawValue == "N" && Rdo_Q2.rawValue == "N" && Rdo_Q3.rawValue == "N" && Rdo_Q4.r...

Thanks Paul! I'll try it on my form.I didn't want to use a date control is because Users here tend to enter their date of birth in the format: 19092008.For a date-field validation, Livecycle is not able to auto-format the date into 19/09/2008 like the numeric field does. The display and edit pattern in Livecycle doesn't seem to work even when i enter a DD/MM/YYYY format as the edit and display pattern. It only alerts the Users to enter date in DD/MM/YYYY rather than to format it automatically.Un...
