Re: drop down list text disappears in Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 25-02-2009
OK, great... sigh..Is there another way to import the list without using the Access database so that it will work in Reader?

Re: drop down list text disappears in Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 25-02-2009
I'm not going to a url... This is the first time I've ever worked with LiveCycle so I'm not really familiar with how I should be doing this.

Re: drop down list text disappears in Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 25-02-2009
In LiveCycle, it doesn't let me choose what rights to give it. (?) What it tells me it's going to give are:Save Form DataSign an existing signature fieldDigitally sign document anywhere on the page.

I have tried both ways. First through LiveCycle, then by bringing it into Adobe Pro and Extending them...

drop down list text disappears in Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 23-02-2009
I have a drop down list that is populated using an MS Access table. It works great in Pro, but even with usage rights extended in Reader, the list disappears when opened with Reader. What do I need to do to make it available to those using Reader? Thanks,Rosanne

Re: How to allow Acrobat Reader to "Save As"? - Adobe LiveCycle 17-02-2009
I have done this as well, but we really want the users only option to be Save As. We don't want them to be able to chose Save, as we want to preserve the original form, in it's empty state. Is there a way we can do this? Thanks,Rosanne

Re: Remove Email Option - Adobe LiveCycle 13-02-2009
Because when I do that, it removes user rights, and they can't fill out the form and save it with the data in it. They DO need to be able to do that.*******************OK, disregard this question, I figured it out. I didn't realize that I had to choose Distribute Form, but NOT actually run it. I saw that I could cancel out of it and then just go to Advanced and Extend Features in Adobe Reader.******************

Re: Remove Email Option - Adobe LiveCycle 12-02-2009
I don't want it coming back to me. I don't work for the police, I'm just the form designer. They need to do a save as while they are in the police car, then later they will either print it out for the records dept, or email it as an attachment to all the proper people in the chain of command.
