Paul, can you point me to the correct trial product so I can have the technicians install it for me? My supervisor also wants to know the cost of this product.Thank you.

OK, great... sigh..Is there another way to import the list without using the Access database so that it will work in Reader?

I'm not going to a url... This is the first time I've ever worked with LiveCycle so I'm not really familiar with how I should be doing this.

In LiveCycle, it doesn't let me choose what rights to give it. (?) What it tells me it's going to give are:Save Form DataSign an existing signature fieldDigitally sign document anywhere on the page.

I have tried both ways. First through LiveCycle, then by bringing it into Adobe Pro and Extending them...

I have a drop down list that is populated using an MS Access table. It works great in Pro, but even with usage rights extended in Reader, the list disappears when opened with Reader. What do I need to do to make it available to those using Reader? Thanks,Rosanne

I have done this as well, but we really want the users only option to be Save As. We don't want them to be able to chose Save, as we want to preserve the original form, in it's empty state. Is there a way we can do this? Thanks,Rosanne

Because when I do that, it removes user rights, and they can't fill out the form and save it with the data in it. They DO need to be able to do that.*******************OK, disregard this question, I figured it out. I didn't realize that I had to choose Distribute Form, but NOT actually run it. I saw that I could cancel out of it and then just go to Advanced and Extend Features in Adobe Reader.******************

I don't want it coming back to me. I don't work for the police, I'm just the form designer. They need to do a save as while they are in the police car, then later they will either print it out for the records dept, or email it as an attachment to all the proper people in the chain of command.

One more question: We do not want users to be able to Save over the original form. Is there a way to restrict them to "Save As" so they will always have an empty form to start with? Many thanks for your help,Rosanne Brackney

Is there a way to remove or disable the email option when you run the Distribute Form process? We currently do not want the end users to be able to email the form back. I tried bringing the distributed form back into Live Cycle and deleting the button, and just saving it, but that removes the rights for the user to save the form as well. I have to run it through Distribute Form again, which puts the "submit by email" back in.Thanks,Rosanne Brackney
