Datamanagement and stored procedures give identity problems - Adobe LiveCycle 10-12-2009
Hi,I'm getting the following error when I create an item with the data services. The server returned an item without an identity. Either the server did not set the id properties, the id properties are misconfigured or id properties toString method returned nothing. id properties: '["sopId"]', returned item: 'uzbrussel.service.model::StandardOperatingProcedureImpl {This results in my committed object still having the initial 0 for its id.Configuration settings are: The documenta...

Logging livecycle datamanagement - Adobe LiveCycle 07-12-2009
I think I have a problem where the datamanagement configuration file references a class which isn't included in the swf. This doesn't throw an error but creates dynamic objects. Problem is the logging doesn't mention this, so I wonder if there's some logging level which will show this in the output. I have the feeling Adobe ain't great on the logging part which could save me hours from debugging trivial causes.

Why do dynamic objects get returned instead of a class with data management - Adobe LiveCycle 13-11-2009
I'm wondering why a call to a stored procedure returns dynamic objects although I have a client-side class associated to the result. The code in the stored procedure executes this select statement:SELECT PRODUCT_ID, [NAME] AS NAMES, CATEGORY, DESCRIPTIONThis returns an array of dynamic objects although I configured my destination as: ... Product ...and Product.as:[Managed][RemoteClass]public class Product{ public var PRODUCT_ID:int; public var NAMES:String = ""; public var CATEGORY:String = ""; p...

Re: Cannot connect to named destination (webservice) - Adobe LiveCycle 27-10-2009
The problem here was that I was working with an AIR (desktop) application which has no idea what the url of the server is. It's a bit misleading to think the application will copy the server properties from your project properties. The solution is to hardcode (configure) the endpoint for the service, something like remoteObject.endpoint = http://localhost:8080/lcds-samples/messagebroker/amf.

Cannot connect to named destination (webservice) - Adobe LiveCycle 21-10-2009
I'm trying to add a named destination to proxy-config.xml for a webservice but I'm getting this error when trying to send a message:'my-http' fault handler called. [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: http://iveCycle.swf/lcds-samples/messagebroker/http" errorID=2032]'my-http' channel polling stopped.'my-http' channel connect failed.'my-amf' channel endpoint set to http://iveCycle.swf/lcds-samples/messagebroker/amf'my-amf' ...
