I have an instance of Adobe Live Cycle ES4 on WebSphere installed on a
Windows 2008 R2 server. We're leveraging the Launch Pad desktop GUI as a
PDF conversion tool for our end users. The document to PDF conversion
functionality is working great but the converted PDF files are
automatically being stored on the end user's "AcrobatHub" folder.
Example: C:\Users\Jsmith\AcrobatHub. How do I modify and change the
default output location for converted PDFs?
We have LiveCycle ES4 SP1 configured and running on WebSphere v8.5 &
Windows 2008 R2. We're primarily using the application for end user PDF
conversion services at this point. However, 10% of our users are outside
our networks and without a VPN. What is involved in setting up a reverse
proxy service for the PDF conversion functionality? Is there any
documentation available online that I can reference? Thanks,M.
I uninstalled and re-installed Java and was able to validate the data
sources. However, I’m currently on the “Component Deployment” phase. All
the jar files seemed to deploy successfully except for the lca files.
I’m receiving the following:Failed to deploy LCA C:\Adobe\Adobe
LiveCycle ES4\deploy\adobe-livecycle-launchpad.lcaFailed to deploy LCA
ES4\deploy\adobe-livecycle-launchpad-assets.lcaFailed to deploy LCA
I've been attempting to deploy ES4 on Windows 2008R2, SQL Server 2008R2
(which is on a separate server), ontop of IBM WebSphere 8.5. I've
followed the current Adobe ES4 instructions but I cannot get past the
"Datasource Validation" step, receiving the following error:IDP_DS
ALC-LCM-120-300: Data source settings failed validation.RM_DS Fail
