Re: Can I launch a new workflow process from a URL? - Adobe LiveCycle 24-04-2012
That launches a service-type process, but I want to launch a process in Workspace, with a form. I don't think that's what you're describing here.

I have task notification turned on and see how I can launch Workspace opening directly to an existing task, as here:http://mysite.com:8080/workspace/Main.html?ap=1&taskId=922Can I do the same thing for initiating a brand new task for a given process? Thanks,Jack

Re: Problem with sending email. - Adobe LiveCycle 18-04-2012
Hi all,I"m having a similar problem. The thing is that the regular email service allows you to indicate that the outbound smtp is SSL, while the task notification screen in AdminUI does not. I can set the port but not the SSL setting so it does not go through using task notification, which I want. If I send via the send email service, it works fine. Where can we tell task notification to use SSL?

Re: Issue in AWS_ACTION rawValue - Adobe LiveCycle 13-04-2012
Do you know if this should work out of the box for ES3? And should it work for PDF forms, or only XDP? Our form is similar to what's described above, but needs to be PDF as it holds digital signatures. Thanks

Determine if commenting is allowed in PDF? - Adobe LiveCycle 07-03-2012
Is there a way in Workbench to determine if a PDF allows commenting, short of trying to add a comment and catching the exception? I know I could test the properties of a PDF to see if it's a fillable form, but that is not the only case where commenting is not allowed: security/password protection is at least one other case. Thanks!

Can Email Start Point process NOT return attachments? - Adobe LiveCycle 18-10-2011
I'm creating a process starting with an email start point, and it does not need to return attachments, only receive them. When it completes, the email that comes back has a subject line of "Errors from Livecycle ES", and the body says:LiveCycle ES has tried to process your request and encountered the following error: No results after invocation. It could be a problem during invocation. Is there a way to simply send a confirmation email back to the sender, with no attachments? Thanks

SAXException submitting to Web Service, but works fine in "Test" button in dialog - Adobe LiveCycle 10-10-2011
I have an external web service to call from LC, and I know it works with a sample XML file I was given. When I exercise that xml in the Test area of the WebService Settings dialog for the Invoke Web Service activity in my LC process, it works perfectly. But when I actually invoke the process, I get this error back from the service's server: org.xml.sax.SAXException: WSWS3084E: Error: SimpleDeserializer encountered a child element, which is NOT expected, in something it was trying to deserialize....

Re: Possible to receive %BODY% in email endpoint with html? - Adobe LiveCycle 27-09-2011
I see that the Foundation/EmailService gives you two variables to receive the email as plain text and as html. Is there a way to do this with the email start point?
