Does anyone have advice for a audience naming convention in the financial industry? Our folders are organized by LOB.

Hi @kendallhall,

Having your folders organized by LOB, you can follow the next structure:

'{LOB}_{Segment}_{Description}_{Date}

Components:

1. LOB (I understand it as a line of business):

-Use a clear code or abbreviation for each businell line.

-Example: 'INV' for Investments, 'INS' for Insurance ,'BAN' for Banking.

2.Segment:

-Define the type of segment that the audience belongs to.

-Example: 'PROS' for Prospects, 'VIP' for VIP Customers , 'CUST' for Customers.

3. Date:

- Include the creation or last update of the audience in ' YYYYMMDD' format.

- Example:'20240801'

4. Description:

- Provide a brief description that clearly identifies the purpose of characteristics of the audience.

- Example: 'Men_40-50', 'Interested_Loans'.

Some examples could be:

- Investment prospects aged 36: 'INV_PROS_36_20240801'

- VIP insurance customers interested in life plans: 'INS_VIP_LifePlans_20240801'

Finally ensure that all users and teams follow this naming convention to avoid confusion. Besides, mantain a clear documentation of the naming convention within your team.

¡Hope this suits you well!

Regards,

Celia
