Hi all,

Can anyone please assist me finding or configuring in DTM, how do i capture or get the name of the pagename as a Evar when an event is clicked.

we have a tab that will be displayed on 4 pages. We need to find from which page the users are selecting this footer event to enhance the performance.

thanks in advance.

Cheers

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

Many users will setup a data element that uses document.title to capture the page name. Then you can just use the data element picker or % to list the data elements available when setting variables in the DTM interface.

If you are trying to capture this based on where the user clicked, I would just add the pagename data element to the event based rule you set up to capture that event.

Thanks,
Jantzen
