Trying to connect AEM 6.1 to DPS

Hello,

I'm trying to connect my AEM 6.1 local instance to our company DPS account.

The DPS administrator followed the steps to get me a Device ID and a Device Token. Filled the PDF form and sent it in. HE then sent me the information he received from Adobe. Now in AEM I proceeded to Cloud Services and created a new Adobe Digital Publishing Solution configuration. I supplied the Device ID and the Device token I was given and then hit the "Test DPS device settings." Doing this got me the following error message saying:

********

Connection to DPS could not be established.

Please check your current Device and OSGi values and, if they are correct, see an DPS administrator for more details.

********

Anyone else got this message before. am I missing a step? Did my DPS administrator forget something. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

-Alain

The client secret should be within the DPS 2015 Content Producer API request form. Please email me (mikey@adobe.com) your client ID and I'll try to find the secret.

Hi,

Did you enter the client ID and secret in the AEM instance? It is located in AEM dashboard > Tools > Web Console > and search for Adobe Digital Publishing Solution Client. Double-click on it and it'll ask for the client ID and secret.

Thanks for the quick reply Mike-o

These are the only 3 pieces of information I have from my DPS administrator:

IMS Client ID

Device ID

Device Token

I used the Device ID and the Diveice token in the cloud configuration. I'musing the IMS Client ID in the DPS Client Id of AEM config manager, I think I'm just missing the DPS Client Secret. Where do I get this secret?

Please don't tell me its a secret.

Thanks
